AmPac Business Capital is proud to celebrate the success of PurfectSkyn, an emerging organic skincare brand that has already been featured on several major Los Angeles television outlets, including Fox 11 News, ABC 7, and NBCLA.
Behind the brand is Dr. Alyssiah Robinson, a mother of five and a business leader with more than a decade of experience in the health and beauty industry. Known for driving growth, operational efficiency, and inclusive innovation, Alyssiah founded PurfectSkyn to create clean, plant-based skincare solutions designed to serve communities often overlooked in the mainstream market.
A Brand Built on Purpose
PurfectSkyn is an organic beauty care company focused on developing and manufacturing clean skincare products free from harmful additives. Research and development began in December 2020, with early formulation work conducted from a home office. What started as a small-scale effort evolved into a four-year product development journey grounded in testing, refinement, and persistence.
The product line features three proprietary, plant-based ingredients, creating a unique formulation in the competitive skincare market. Designed to address persistent skin conditions while maintaining additive-free formulations, PurfectSkyn is tailored for individuals seeking effective organic solutions, particularly those with skin issues often underserved by mainstream brands.
Following its 2025 launch, the company has begun expanding its presence through targeted marketing and thoughtful distribution strategies.
The Story Behind the Brand
Alyssiah’s path to founding PurfectSkyn is deeply personal. Her commitment to clean skincare began while searching for relief for her son’s severe eczema and she found that many existing products contained undesired toxins and additives. That search led her to begin formulating her own plant-based solutions, laying the foundation for what would become PurfectSkyn.
Her story recently attracted attention from Good Day LA on Fox 11 Los Angeles, where she shared the inspiration and mission behind PurfectSkyn in a featured segment. In the interview, Alyssiah discusses how her personal experience with her son’s skin condition led her to design a product line rooted in additive-free, plant-based formulations, and how those early research efforts evolved into a business preparing for launch.

Fueling Growth Through Access to Capital
To support startup operations and prepare for launch, Alyssiah secured a $50,000 SBA Microloan through AmPac Business Capital. The funding provided critical working capital to transition from research and development into operational readiness.
With financing in place, PurfectSkyn was able to formalize production plans, invest in initial inventory and packaging, and position the company for its market entry with structure and stability last year.
Why This Story Matters
Alyssiah’s story is not only about product innovation. It is about resilience and building a legacy through entrepreneurship. PurfectSkyn’s journey reflects what is possible when determination meets opportunity.
We are honored to support founders, such as Alyssiah Thomas, who turn personal challenges into purposeful enterprises. Stories like this remind us why expanding access to capital matters for entrepreneurs ready to build something meaningful.
