AmPac Business Capital and Enterprise Funding Corporation Unite to Revolutionize SBA 504 Lending in the Inland Empire
Press Conference – Thursday, July 11, 2024
Ontario, CA – June 19, 2024 — In a strategic move poised to reshape the landscape of SBA 504 lending, AmPac Business Capital, a mission-driven lender with 18 years of dedicated service, is thrilled to announce its impending merger with Enterprise Funding Corporation, a distinguished entity with a rich 40-year history in the sector. This merger marks a significant milestone, combining a total of 58 years of unparalleled expertise in supporting small businesses through the acquisition, construction, improvement, or refinancing of owner-occupied commercial real estate.
Headquartered in Ontario, California, AmPac Business Capital will emerge as the surviving SBA 504 lender, integrating the talented staff of Enterprise Funding into its existing team of 29 professionals. This expansion introduces two new satellite offices in Palm Springs and San Bernardino, enhancing our ability to cater to the comprehensive needs of the vast Inland Empire region, the largest county area in the United States. The consolidated entity will continue to operate from AmPac’s Ontario headquarters on Inland Empire Blvd., with additional access to a Sacramento office.
The newly unified AmPac is set to deepen its collaborations with local banks, commercial real estate brokers, and CPAs, all of whom share our vision for the prosperity of the Inland Empire region. Our collective aim is to partner with these professionals, leveraging our shared commitment to the community and our extensive lending expertise.
Enterprise Funding’s legacy of 40 years of fostering relationships throughout San Bernardino and Riverside Counties will be seamlessly integrated with AmPac’s innovative technology, robust back-office support, and diverse loan offerings. Jeff Sceranka, the former President of Enterprise, will join the AmPac leadership team as Executive VP of New Markets and Business Development. Sceranka’s vast experience in restaurant management, hospitality, and hotel development will significantly contribute to AmPac’s strategic expansion plans across California and into new markets.
Hilda Kennedy, Founder and President of AmPac, expressed her enthusiasm for the merger, highlighting the strategic growth opportunities it presents. “By joining forces with Enterprise Funding, we are poised to become the premier SBA 504 lender in the Inland Empire, expanding our programs to support businesses from their inception to their legacy,” Kennedy stated.
The merger has received conditional approval from the U.S. Small Business Administration, with final approval pending from the State Office of the Attorney General for the Certificate of Merger.
AmPac and Enterprise Funding will host a joint press conference to discuss the merger details, introduce the new Board of Directors, and outline the future direction of the combined entity. The press conference has been changed to Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Noon at AmPac’s Ontario office located at 3110-B Inland Empire Blvd, Ontario 91764.
“We invite all interested parties, including SBA bankers, commercial real estate brokers, CPAs, and members of the press, to join us for this momentous occasion.
